What We Believe On

~ The Holy Scriptures are the inspired and infallible Word of God and the revealed will of God.

~ The Trinity or the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are all co-equal, and in Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead.

~ The enemy of our soul is Satan, and the reality is that he DOES exist.

~ Man was created in the image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin entered the world.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

~ The only atonement for man’s sin comes by application of the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

~ Salvation comes by repentance and believing with your heart and confessing with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord.  Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ,  not by human works.  It is by grace we are saved.

~ Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, and was God manifest in the flesh.

~ The new birth is a new creation from above, the direct operation of the Word of God and the Spirit of God upon the believer’s life, changing their spirit completely.

~ Baptism in water is an act of obedience and a statement to the world that the believer has died with Christ and has been raised with Him in the newness of life.

~ The baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues is a free gift for all believers.  The Holy Ghost empowers the believer and bestows the gifts of the Spirit and their uses in the work of the ministry.

~ The gifts of the Spirit operating in our congregation; speaking in tongues and interpretation, praying and singing in the Spirit and in understanding, and the gift of prophecy.

~ Living in divine health; healing and salvation go together.  They were both paid for at Calvary by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

~ Prayer for the sick, by anointing them with oil and the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise them up.

~ The church (the body of Christ) is not separated by denomination but is composed of all blood-washed believers.

~ Obey the laws of the land, submit yourselves to the ordinances of man for the Lord’s sake.

~ Christ’s teaching concerning spiritual grounds for divorce.

~ Loyalty and obedience to those in authority over us in the Lord.

~ In paying tithes as obedience to God’s Word.  He will rebuke the devourer for our sake, and open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

~ The celebration of the Lord’s Supper by eating bread and drinking of the cup is a remembrance of Jesus Christ.

~ The believer has a free will to serve God, or to turn away, backslide, and be lost.

~ The sanctification of the believer as the scriptures teach, a life separate from the world, set apart, holy before God.

~ If we live in the Spirit, we shall also walk in the Spirit and will have victory over sin and self.

~ Man is a spirit, who possesses a soul, and lives in a body.  At physical death, the spirit and the soul leave the body and go to their eternal home.

~ The resurrection of the dead in Christ and the translation of those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord.

~ The pre-millennial coming of Jesus Christ; when the dead in Christ shall rise first, then the church shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the sky.  After the church is gone, then the time of tribulation begins.

~ The millennial reign of Jesus Christ; the return of our Lord with His saints from heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on earth as the scriptures promised.

~ The final day of judgment where all men will be judged according to their works.

~ Heaven is the dwelling place of God and the final home for saints.

~ Those who have rejected Jesus Christ as their personal Savior will suffer eternal separation from God and will be cast into the lake of fire.
